History
STATE OF THE ORG [ 2/3/2025 ]
4.0 was really rough going live but seems to be improving. Getting back into the swing after a full wipe can be tough and it’s usually a struggle every time to find a rhythm in-game again. The Fight for Pyro has begun and it’ll be interesting which of the three faction comes out ahead. In the mean-time watch your back, save your courtesy for Stanton, check your corners and keep your digits on H and J.

GAME STATUS:
- Server Meshing: Improving
- Frames: Much better since PTU went live
- Grav bikes: Fun but kill you
- Personal Hangars: Disabled
- Tumbril Ranger: No
- Today’s main complaint: Global chat is lousy with weird little racist gremlins.
STATE OF THE ORG [ 1/7/2025 ]
With Pyro in its infancy and most of us limping our way through the 4.0 preview build, it took me a couple days just to find someone willing to ferry me to a station with working hangars. Hit us up if you want to put a crew together and tour the wastes of Pyro, maybe split a couple mid cargo runs while we get a feel for the new system. Hang in there, try to enjoy those fleeting moments of fun in this mess of a patch and dream of stable server meshing. —Egg
GAME STATUS:
- Server Meshing: Shaky in preview but higher player counts
- Frames: Iffy in Preview
- Grav bikes: Fun but kill you
- Personal Hangars: Disabled
- Tumbril Ranger: No
- Main complaints: Widespread issues with missions, spawns inventories, 30Ks and black-screen crashes. Try to remember it’s a preview build.
Manifesto
Noli Me Mutare
“… it better fits my blood to be
disdained of all than to fashion a carriage to rob
love from any. In this, though I cannot be said to be
a flattering honest man, it must not be denied but I
am a plain-dealing villain. I am trusted with a
muzzle and enfranchised with a clog; therefore I
have decreed not to sing in my cage. If I had my
mouth, I would bite; if I had my liberty, I would do
my liking. In the meantime, let me be that I am, and
seek not to alter me.”

Charter
The Starlings MC Pledge
A “Renegades” cut could be bought for $35 American dollars and all it came with was an invisible motorcycle. The support of Starlings MC costs a lot more but it comes with something real. The Club demands loyalty, trust and respect and those are the three things the MC guarantees its members in return.
Objectives
- Above all: Remain alignment agnostic wherever possible. Establish and nurture a reputation befitting an outlaw motorcycle club; somewhere between fear and respect. Make ‘em guess who you’re gonna hit next.
- Run the club like a union, not a corp. Prioritize equality and solidarity over power and profit.
- Develop and maintain a sustainable social group substantial enough to support participation in and hosting of large-group gameplay and in-game meetups. Encourage growth to necessitate organizing regional chapters in Stanton, Pyro and beyond.
- Explore persistent universe gameplay involving “motorcycle-adjacent” personal ground vehicles. These currently include:
- Drake Dragonfly
- Aopoa Nox
- Mirai Pulse
- Origin Jumpworks X1
- Consolidated Outland Hoverquad
Tumbril Ranger
- Emulate the organizational and aesthetic structure of outlaw motorcycle clubs similar to the American “Big Four” (Hell’s Angels MC. Mongols MC, Pagans MC and Bandidos MC). Include elements of other, global MC cultures such as Japanese bōsōzoku, UK Mods, and similar groups.
- Amalgamate global outlaw motorcycle culture and embrace the centuries that have passed since the invention of the motorcycle. Explore how the culture might have evolved in the interim and nurture the lore that sprouts in that soil.
- Eschew and condemn problematic practices that have been known to be associated with outlaw motorcycle clubs. Chiefly racism, sexism, misogyny and homophobia.
- Respect the boundary between CIG’s Universe and our real one. Know when to leave real-world problems in the real world but understand that how we behave in-game echoes there as well.
- Participate in lawful, lucrative gameplay loops that encourage team play. These may include but are not limited to:
- Shipping and Trade
- Freight and Supply
- Scrap and Salvage
- Mining and Refining
- Exploration
- Contract Security
- Combat Escort
- Explore emergent gameplay and limited-time in-game events to encourage interaction with fellow Starlings, other players and their orgs.
- Contribute to the Star Citizen community at large. Volunteer to shepherd players new to the game. Respond to service beacons and assist players regardless of alignment as long as it doesn’t jeopardize Starlings’ operations or standing with relevant orgs, guilds or factions.
- Participate in other orgs’ events to encourage community growth and create opportunities for recruitment.
- Encourage variety among member professions and guild alignments.
