Sometimes for even the most experienced military veterans the chain of command, bureaucracy, and politics can wear you down.

Inaction when decisive action is needed, meanwhile action takes place elsewhere simply for its own sake. Lives gambled with and lost simply for political theatre, procurement decisions made not with the warfighter in mind but for the benefit of politicians.

Weary of these shortcomings of serving the Empire from within what at times can be a corrupt and needlessly complex system our mercenary fleet was founded to continue to serve the Empire as free as possible from all of these constraints. And serve the Empire, we do. Being disillusioned with the government apparatus does not make us disloyal; far from it as we simply feel we can do the job better as free as possible from political and governmental interference and oversight.

The fall of the Messer regime and subsequent instability has kept us busy. From humble foundings at the end of the 28th century that amounted to a handful of companies operating out of a hidden base near the Sirius system through facing Vanduul or pirates we’ve continued to grow at a steady rate and can even field multiple capital vessels and enough logistics and support vessels to keep everything armed, fueled, and in top condition. It is our policy to invest into our equipment in ways that even the UEEN can not and keep everything in absolutely 100% condition and fully combat ready.
