History

“We have recently reformed our organization and many of our members have been playing SC for several years.
Our aim is to expand our rank and file to incorporate players of all backgrounds and all goals.
We have a diverse group of individuals who are skilled in all aspects of Star Citizen. From combat pilots to pirates, and mining to salvaging, we encourage all forms of play, whatever makes you enjoy the game.

We are skilled at securing Contested Zones, and ship retrieval from the Executive Hangar, and we share our bounties evenly with all full members.
Ronin’s Roughnecks prides itself in both team work and individual game play.”
— Formal Re‑Charter Manifesto, RONINROUGH 2954 SEY

2950 Seeded as an opportunistic salvage crew after the Vanduul raids on Vega II (declared UEE war in 2945) — recruited frontier miners, excelsior seekers and dropped‑pod technicians.

2953 After participating in UEE militia patrols during the late‑war period, the core cadre of Roughnecks disbanded to become freelance contractors servicing Border Coalition outfits.

2954 Formal Re‑Charter: Ronin’s Roughnecks re‑founded under a UEE‑franchise banner (“reformed our organization…”), with a charter emphasizing all‑career openness (combat, pirate, trade, salvage)

2955 Pyro Contested Zone Campaign launched: first execution of weekly infiltration loops (Checkmate, Ruin Station, Orbituary) collecting compboards to claim Executive Hangars

2956 From CZ + Executive Hangar operations, Roughnecks scored and retrofit two insane UEE surplus Idris‑Ps and one Idris‑M, each retrofitted by Rogue Aegis module buyers with size‑10 destroyer railgun mounts

2957 Following Polaris reveal at IAE 2954, the org executed strategic orbital raids to requisition over two dozen Polaris corvettes (torpedo‑equipped) from looted comp‑board prize delivery convoys

2957.5 Salvage operations in an abandoned Vanduul raider cluster netted two Drake Kraken capital carriers; both refurbished to act as mobile FOBs—able to repair/resupply docked craft in‑system

2958 Org began Apex Valakkar hunts and refinery raids on hybrid OLPs (e.g. Storm Breaker, Attritus platforms), integrating drones, ground ATLS GEO IKTI drops, and salvage wings

2958.5 Flagship christened: RRS Stone Rhino (custom Idris‑P with size‑10 railgun mount), primed for multiforce deployment: fighter wing, boarding boats, Terra‑Nova tanks, IKTI drop teams, emergency med/tech team

2959 Org achieves fleet parity with UEE detachments: acquired 15 total Idris‑class frigates, rigged with a combination of Exodus Lasers, Hammerfall Torpedo Launchers and Destroyer mass‑driver railguns as operational standards. HopNasty takes command of flagship; Mungaloid becomes 2IC. Also launches alliance initiatives (recruitment + allied outreach).

Manifesto

Resolute pilots and seasoned mercenaries, forged in the void beyond UEE oversight. We pledge service not to bureaucrats or fleeting politics, but to a code of honor written in courage, discipline, and unwavering loyalty. Our skill is our currency; our reputation, earned in the trials of the frontier.

Every ship we command and every operation we undertake is guided by precision, strategy, and integrity. We strike where the UEE cannot, defend where the weak cannot, and uphold contracts with a steadfast commitment to excellence. Our loyalty is not given lightly—it is forged through shared trials and victories across Stanton and Pyro, the heartlands and frontiers of the ‘verse alike.

Founded in 2950 SEY as salvage vanguards scavenging the debris of the Vanduul War, we have evolved into an elite force, commanding capital warfare, frontier operations, and surgical strikes. Our fleet moves with discipline, our crews act with honor, and our missions are executed with unflinching professionalism.

Join the Ronin’s Roughnecks, and carve your mark across the stars—not as marauders, but as champions of the mercenary code. Together, we will shape Stanton and Pyro, uphold our contracts, and ensure that wherever we fly, order and valor follow in our wake.

Charter

We have an Eight Article Constitution

Art 1: Don’t be a jerk
Treat your fellow org members as you’d want to be treated
No personal attacks. Trash talking should be light and in good fun.

Art 2: Stay on point and civilized
Keep discord channels on topic
Keep discussions as a debate, not an argument

*Art 3: Mind the Exploits
*Do not use exploits to the point that you put your fellow Ronins at risk.

Art 4: Communication is Key
Good laughs and BS is fine, but when it’s time to get tactical, clear the comms channel unless you have tactically important things to say.

Art 5: Work as a Crew
Pitch in during Org nights and missions, nightly attendance is NOT required. If you expect to benefit from the Org, you should contribute to the Org.

Art 6: Keep issues private
If there are issues between you and other members, address them privately, and if needed bring them to leadership.

Art 7: Listen to Leadership
The leadership of Ronin’s Roughnecks is here to keep the Org from being torn apart, or treated like a post apocalyptic wasteland. If you disagree with something, speak to other members of leadership privately, and then bring it to HopNasty or Mungaloid to address. Don’t let it spark a wildfire.

Art 8: Consequences
First Offense – Quick verbal or DM warning
Second Offense – Temporary Server Mute, pulled into private comm room to address issue.
Third Offense – may result in a server ban and removal from Org.

Offenses that will result in immediate ban – any highly offensive behavior (all the “ists” racists etc), stealing, lying, traitorous behavior within the Org.
