History Manifesto Charter

History

Ice Raven Renegades (RVNZ) was founded in the year 2895, emerging from the personal journey of Johnny Jericho, a former Officer on Deck (OOD) in the UEE Navy. Born in 2870, Johnny’s career in the military was cut short due to injuries sustained during combat against the Vanduul, leading him to retire and pivot to civilian life.

Upon retiring, Johnny established a loose group of ex-pats and mercs into a freelance Bounty hunting service stationed on Micro-Tech where he was born. He dubbed it the Ice Raven Renegades and initially focusing on tracking down people who had skipped court and had low level warrants before he eventually made enough to mover his work into the black. The company’s significant evolution came several years later when Johnny discovered the wreckage of an ancient Reclaimer once owned by his Grand-father and filed claim on it. After winning a protracted legal battle he was able to legally claim it and he restored to operational status, marking a turning point for his business.

Over time his partners either lost interest, crossed ethical lines Johnny could not tolerate or simply died too deep in the black to be regenerated. Now it is he and he alone making his way the only way he knows how.

Manifesto

Preamble
We, the Ice Raven Renegades, stand as pioneers in the vast frontier of the United Empire of Earth (UEE) within the universe of Star Citizen. Bound by a shared vision of humanity’s ascendance, we embrace the spirit of exploration, resilience, and unity. Our creed is We Above All—not out of disdain for alienkind, but from an unyielding belief in the potential of our species to carve a bold legacy among the stars, echoing the sense of Manifest Destiny by Earth’s frontiersmen and explorers.

Core Tenets
1. Humanity’s Ascendance
We hold that humanity, forged in the crucible of Earth’s trials, possesses a unique spark to lead the cosmos into a new era. Our destiny is to expand, to settle uncharted worlds, and to support new outposts where none existed before. The stars are our frontier, and we will claim them with courage and ingenuity.

2. Unity in Purpose
The Ice Raven Renegades are a tribe of explorers, traders, miners, and warriors united by a common goal: to secure humanity’s future. We reject those who reject humanity and embrace those who show cooperation and innovation as we forge alliances with those who share our vision, human or otherwise, provided they respect our mission.

3. Respect for All, Preference for Humanity
We harbor no hatred for alien species. We trade, negotiate, and coexist with those who approach us in good faith. Yet, our loyalty lies with humanity’s advancement. Resources, territories, and opportunities must first serve the growth of human civilization before others. Let them keep their own ways in their own places. We owe them nothing and lend them peace.

4. The Frontier Spirit
Like the pioneers of Earth’s terrestrial and extraterrestrial expansion, we thrive on the edge of the known. We venture into lawless systems, brave hostile environments, and face the unknown to secure outposts, trade routes, and uncover the galaxy’s secrets. Risk is our currency, and discovery is our reward.

5. Self-Reliance and Resilience
The Ice Raven Renegades depend on no one. We make our own way, refuse hand outs and defend our own claims. Even if the UEE falters or if corporate interests encroach, we will stand firm, ready to project our way of life with steel and resolve.

6. Legacy of the Ice Raven
Our namesake, the Ice Raven, symbolizes endurance in the harshest voids. Cold, unyielding, and fiercely independent and crafty. We embody these traits. Every action we take builds a legacy that will inspire or in turn build generations of starfarers.

Our Mission
The Ice Raven Renegades will:

Defend human interests against piracy, or external threats.
Trade with fairness, prioritizing human prosperity while fostering peaceful relations with alien allies.
Innovate, harnessing technology and strategy to overcome the challenges of the cosmos.
