Initially funded by a coalition of retired naval officers and Terra-based industrial magnates, RSG began as a private consultancy and convoy escort operation, specializing in high-risk trade lanes between Terra, Goss, and Magnus. Its early deployments were marked by successful interdictions of pirate forces in the Oberon system, where RSG’s naval doctrine and adaptive command structure earned the attention of major shipping conglomerates and high-tier clients within the Xi’an diplomatic sphere.
