“Keeping the stars tidy, one derelict at a time!”

Founded in 2901, PWM clears derelict spacecraft from dangerous commerce routes and planetary landing zones, “Making Space Travel Safe Again.™” In memory of Nancy Stacy Esteban-Dingo, we ensure the galaxy remains an adventure – not a hazard.

History

The dawn of the 26th century brought with it immense advancements in space exploration. However, it also introduced a growing problem: the accumulation of derelict spacecraft in key commerce routes and planetary landing zones. To address this growing hazard, Pyro Waste Management was founded in 2901. Driven by a tragic personal loss, our CEO vowed to make space travel safer for all after his mother, Nancy Stacy Esteban-Dingo, perished when a Reclaimer dropped out of quantum travel, disregarded right of way, and collided with her Constellation. Our dedication to safety, innovation, and excellence has been recognized throughout the ‘verse. Here are some of our most notable achievements:

2902: First Major Contract

Secured a landmark contract with the prestigious Headhunters Organization to clear space debris from major trade routes around Bloom.

2910: The Dumpy Diver Introduction

Launched the “Dumpy Diver,” a groundbreaking Reclaimer modified to safely operate during Pyro’s worst solar flares.

2913: Galactic Safety Award

Honored with the prestigious 30th Centennial Galactic Safety Award for our contributions to making space travel safer for all.

2915: Expansion of Operations

Expanded our fleet to include advanced reclamation Polarises and support vessels, increasing our capacity to handle larger and more complex debris removal projects.

2920: Interstellar Collaboration

Partnered with Rough and Ready to develop standardized protocols for space debris management across Pyro’s system.

2925: Milestone Achievement

Celebrated the removal of our 10,000th derelict spacecraft, significantly reducing the risks associated with space travel.

2928: Green Galaxy Initiative

Launched the Green Galaxy Initiative, an environmental sustainability program focused on recycling space debris and minimizing our ecological footprint.

2930: Pyro Junk Academy Established

Established the Pyro Junk Academy, a training center dedicated to educating the next generation of space debris management professionals.

2933: Innovation in Action Award

Received the Innovation in Action Award for our continuous advancements in reclamation technology and space safety solutions.

2935: Community Outreach Program

Initiated the Community Outreach Program to raise awareness about space debris and promote safety measures among spacefaring communities.

At Pyro Waste Management, our achievements reflect our unwavering commitment to ensuring the safety and sustainability of the final frontier. We are proud of our history and continue to strive for excellence in all our endeavors.

Manifesto

“Space: The final clutter frontier”

At Pyro Waste Management, we believe space is not just the ultimate adventure, but it deserves to be kept tidy. Founded in 2901, we’re the self-appointed space janitors, ensuring that your cosmic commute isn’t disrupted by floating junkyards.

Our Purpose: Born from the tragic loss of our CEO’s mom in a spectacularly unfortunate collision, our mission is clear: Clean up the galaxy, one derelict spacecraft at a time, and save future space travelers from similar fates.

Our Commitment: We wield our “Pyro Scrubbers” and reclamation fleets with pride, transforming interstellar junk into safe, navigable space lanes. Our goal? To turn every “Hurston, we have a problem” into “Hurston, you can thank us later.”

Our Vision: We dream of a future where space junk is as extinct as the dodo. No more playing dodge-the-debris while cruising through the cosmos. We’re here to make the galaxy a safer, cleaner playground for all your spacefaring shenanigans.

Our Values:

Safety: Because no one wants their space vacation ruined by a rogue piece of metal. Innovation: We’re the mad scientists of space waste management, always cooking up new ways to keep the stars junk-free. Sustainability: Green isn’t just for Earth. We recycle everything from derelict shuttles to rusty nuts and bolts. Excellence: We don’t just aim high—we aim for the stars, and we don’t miss.

Our Call to Action: Join us in our mission to banish space junk to the annals of history. Together, we’ll keep the final frontier sparkling and safe. At Pyro Waste Management, we’re not just cleaning up space—we’re making it an interstellar paradise for everyone.
