The History of Outer Stellar Trading
In the Black, We Build
Founded in the waning years of the 29th century, Outer Stellar Trading was born from necessity—and sharpened by survival. While the UEE focused its gaze inward, tightening regulations and overextending control, a void opened in the outer systems: a vacuum of logistics, trust, and stability. OST emerged to fill it—not with bluster, but with quiet efficiency.
Founding Years
What began as a handful of independent haulers and ex-corporate logistics officers operating out of the fringes of Stanton and Nyx quickly evolved into a tightly-knit collective. Early OST crews thrived on risky contracts others wouldn’t touch—salvage under Nine Tails patrols, discreet cargo runs to fringe outposts, and quiet deal-making with the kind of clients the UEE prefers to pretend don’t exist.
The Growth Era
OST’s strength came not from numbers, but from network. Through strategic neutrality, clean recordkeeping, and an ironclad internal code, the organization built trust across disparate factions—from local security firms in ArcCorp, to outlaw-run settlements in Pyro. By the time competitors noticed, OST already controlled critical supply chains in several gray-zone trade routes.
Present Day
Today, Outer Stellar Trading is a force of calculated influence. We are traders, but not pacifists. Diplomats, but not weak. When diplomacy fails, our response is swift and exacting. We hold no allegiance to the UEE, the advocacy, or pirate warlords—but we do honor our contracts, defend our people, and remember those who cross us.
From the refined decks of MicroTech’s landing pads to the scorched steel of forgotten outposts in unclaimed space, OST operates with one guiding truth:

As a member of Outer Stellar Trading, you represent more than just yourself—you represent a collective built on trust, discipline, and the shared pursuit of prosperity. To maintain our integrity and ensure smooth operations across all sectors, the following rules are to be observed by all members:
1. Professionalism Above All
Conduct yourself with respect and maturity in all interactions—both internal and external. Whether dealing with allies, clients, or rivals, you are the face of OST.
2. Loyalty to the Organization
Act in the best interests of Outer Stellar Trading. Personal ambition is welcome, but it must align with the organization’s goals and values.
3. No Exploits, No Cheating
We maintain our reputation through fair play and strategic excellence. Exploits, hacks, or abuse of in-game mechanics are strictly forbidden.
4. Respect the Chain of Command
Leadership provides guidance, direction, and structure. Follow directives, raise concerns appropriately, and help foster a cooperative environment.
5. Communication is Key
Stay active and responsive on our designated channels. Operational updates, trade opportunities, and alerts rely on solid communication.
6. Zero Tolerance for Toxicity
Harassment, discrimination, or aggressive behavior will not be tolerated under any circumstances. Treat others as valuable allies—because they are.
7. Defend the Brand
Outer Stellar Trading operates with honor. Never engage in scams, piracy while conducting business, or actions that would tarnish our name—unless explicitly sanctioned as part of a strategic operation.
8. Retaliation with Precision
We are merchants, not martyrs. If they strike at OST Members, expect a response—measured, strategic, and absolute.
Those who disrupt our operations, betray our trust, or threaten our members will find no safe harbor. We do not escalate without cause, but when we strike, we do so with finality.
