History
Humble Beginnings
The three founders of Orionis are common people. One was a cargo hauler, flowing through the shipping veins of the universe. Another was a data runner, using information as their commodity. The third, a bounty hunter, earning credits by keeping systems safe.
Forged in Fire
If there was ONE ship that could define how Orionis got its start, it would be… the Drake Cutlass Black.
We’re kidding of course. Although it’s a fine ship, nothing brings people together quite like the Aegis Redeemer. With a fully crewed ‘Deemer, its raw firepower can annihilate light fighters, and absolutely wallop above its weight class to take down, the once feared, Idris.
That is just how this journey started. Our three founders happened to find each other in the middle of a conflict. By chance, the three came together to neutralize an outlaw gang member that had stolen an Idris.
The Stars and Beyond
Orionis is looking to add to an already growing community. At our core is an extensive mining operation which includes scouting, protection, refining, and hauling.
The defense sector is another pillar of the company. We want our members, and others, to feel as safe as possible in the Verse.
We will expand into surrounding systems once access is granted to jump points. We also explore new professions and create new career paths once emerging technology permits.
We hope to help you create your chapter in the unfolding story of Orionis!
