History

Founding Era (2950 – 2951)

Founded by an affiliate of the 78th Squadron, Orion Freightworks began as a small group focused on efficient cargo transport and trading across Stanton. Utilizing a fleet of Freelancer MAXs and Cutlass Blacks, the organization quickly gained a reputation for reliability in delivering high-priority goods under tight deadlines.

Expansion and Fleet Growth (2952 – 2953)

With increasing demand, Orion Freightworks expanded its fleet to include larger vessels like the Hercules Starlifter and the Starfarer, enabling it to handle bulk cargo and fuel transport. It also formed partnerships with mining and salvage organizations to offer efficient and secure transport, enhancing its reliability.

Technological Integration and Innovation (2954 – 2954)

They then invested in cutting-edge navigation and cargo management systems, improving efficiency and safety. A comprehensive training program was established for pilots and crew, focusing on both combat and efficient delivery.

Current Operations (2955 – Present)

Orion Freightworks is now a prominent player in the Stanton system. They offer a wide range of services, including military, emergency support and specialised cargo handling. They actively participate in community events and maintain a strong presence in the verse.
