SECTION COMMAND

Like the Knight Templers of ancient history who came together to provide safe passage for the pilgrims that were travelling to the Holy Lands, RAHNUBIS INTERSTELLAR ORGNIZATION, better known simply as R.I.O SECTION COMMAND, was founded out of the desire to protect the Citizens of the Verse.

Welcome to Rahnubis Interstellar Organization, SECTION COMMAND.

If you are one that values law and order, if you seek to aid those in need, if you despise the unlawful scum of the verse, then you are welcomed to become a protector, a helping hand, a light that shines through the cold unforgiving darkness of space, you are welcomed to be a member of R.I.O. SECTION COMMAND.

Avadonis Rahnubis, is the founder, commander and chief of Rahnubis Interstellar Organization, otherwise known as R.I.O or SECTION COMMAND, depending on who you are speaking to. He began his military career as a Turret Gunner on the battle starship Vigilance and served during the War. He excelled in his roll, doing his job with pride and conviction, he eventually became known to all as being one of the very best to ever man a turret. This level of excellence that he displayed gained him the respect of his colleagues and his Superiors, because of this he was given the call sign GUNNER. A moniker that would stick with him for the rest of his life, Avadonis Gunner Rahnubis, the turret marksman of the Vigilance, slayer of the ENEMY, was the full tittle given. Promotions came one after another as he climbed the ranks in the UEE Navy. Then came the day that he was working so hade to see; he was made Captain and given command of his very own ship. The ship was a Polaris Corvette battle class in which he and his crew saw many battles. On more than a few occasions the battle at hand appeared to be their last given the strength and numbers that the enemy possessed, but always they would come through the other side victorious.

Years went by and Captain Rahnubis and his crew saw more combat than they would care to count, but they never yielded to the enemy not even once. Then one day as they were on a routine patrol in a sector that came close to the outer edge of their control space, fate would have it that they intercepted a destress signal that was coming from an unregistered classified ship. Why was the ship unregistered and why was is it travelling through unprotected regions was unknown, however, according to the destress code it was sending, it was carrying a very important high ranking official, and it was under heavy attack. Without reinforcement and without any reservations, Rahnubis ordered his crew to battle stations, he then ordered that an intercepting course be set and jump drives engaged. In moments Rahnubis and his crew were charging into battle once against with an enemy that possessed overwhelming numbers. In the end the enemies were defeated, and the friendlies were saved. For this act of selfless bravery, Avadonis and his entire crew received commendations, and the captain was made an Admiral.

As an Admiral Rahnubis was given different responsibilities but none of them required him to command a ship and that is what he loved, in fact to fly was the reason he joined the Navy in the first place. He worked on projects and planed engagements, and he did so without complaint after all it was his duty. His beloved crew were reassigned too different duties and his trusted ship, was decommissioned upon his promotion to Admiral and was given a place in safe space to sit at rest until some salvage agreements were made. It was at this he was sent to PLACENAMEHERE to act as Governor of a large colony, it is here that he would stay for the rest of his military career. During this time Admiral Rahnubis and his colonists fought many battles on the ground, any and all threats that attempted to lay siege to his colony and even the surrounding colonies that were not under his command where fairly defended. The enemies were all meat with strong unrelenting resistance, which was more than the cowardly outlaws were willing to take on, so Rahnubis remained victorious. Yet he was not happy for his love of flying and the call of deep space beckoned louder and louder as the months passed. Eventually, he could not shake the feelings any longer, and it had become apparent that the UEE command had no intentions of reassigning him to another ship, not at his rank and so he left. Upon leaving the UEE military service, Admiral Rahnubis learnt that the UEE had decided to allow civilians to privately own the Polaris, complete with its functional weapons packages including its massive torpedoes so that may act as private military companies to help fight the enemy. This was an opportunity that he could not allow to pass, so he called in a few favors and was granted permission to procure his last ship of command the Avalon. Once again Admiral Rahnubis sat in the command chair of his favorite ship, he knew everything there is to know about the Polaris, including the fact that the name meant The North Star, and so he named his ship the Avalon a word that he took directly from the pages of his favorite novel, it means home of god. The passage from his favorite novel reads “Look to the North Star, home of god, then gaze ye now upon Avalon”, this was the beginning of many adventures.

However, it was not long after his maiden voyage that he came upon a small Outpost which was under heavy attack by a ruthless band of pirates who were well known for attacking outposts which were far out on the outer rim of UEE space. Knowing that there was no one else that could aid the Citizens in their most dyer time of need, without a second thought Admiral Rahnubis boosted his shields to their maximum capacity and charged in on the attack eventually destroying half a dozen pirate ships. However, it was to no avail, there were simply too many of the enemy and in the end the outpost was totally destroyed with only one of the outpost’s inhabitances surviving the brutal attack. Admiral Rahnubis’s ship sustained heavy damage during the conflict which was the only thing that prevented him from pursuing the pirates that fled. It was then that he decided that he would do whatever it took to protect the Citizens of the Verse.

“ I do not have delusions that a group of people can simply set of into the Verse with nothing but a few ships and good intentions and make a huge difference as a result, no I do not. what it will take is a well rounded organization that performs in multiple capacities, whether that be the escort of vessels, protection of life and property, the hunting down of offenders or may be even reclaiming that which was taken or rescuing hostages, whatever is needed to be done we have a section for that here at R.I.O and we will not falter, we will not give up, we always get the job done because we are the best of the best, the tip of the spear, the cutting edge of the blade, but these are not values that I have invented there have been many great heroes of the past men and women far greater and braver than I who have lived governed by the same creed, defend the people, When I was young child my mother would make me read books, literature of all sort but my favorite were those of the knights and kings of ancient times, the Templars, the brave men that defended the people from those that meat them harm, but the story that I took to heart was one of fiction but meaningful non the lees, at least to me. That was the story of Author King of Camelot and the great kingdom of Avalon where he was placed to rest at the end, Avalon is where Author found his peace in the end, However I intend for those around me to fain peace under our protection, therefore AVALON SECTION COMMAND. Yes, I know that it is not only the thoughts of a dreamer, but me and those like me, who think and believe as I do, we will do all we can to make a dream of peace a reality, we are RAHNUBIS INTERSTELLAR ORGANIZATION.
