OmniStar Systems was founded in 2942 by Captain Alex Kye, a former UEE Navy officer with a deep understanding of logistics, fleet coordination, and engineering. After retiring from active service, Kye saw a growing need for reliable, independent logistics solutions that could operate beyond the rigid bureaucracy of mega-corporations and the military.

With his first ship, a Drake Cutlass Black, Kye began running small-scale freight contracts out of microTech (Stanton IV), using New Babbage as his home base. The planet’s cutting-edge technology and central location made it the perfect hub for coordinating high-speed freight runs and engineering projects. The Cutlass Black, known for its versatility and rugged reliability, became the backbone of OmniStar’s early operations. Through sheer determination and an unwavering commitment to honesty, efficiency, and problem-solving, Kye built a reputation as a freelancer who never failed to deliver.

Expansion & Rise to Prominence (2945 – 2950)
By 2945, the demand for OmniStar’s services had grown beyond what a single Cutlass Black could handle. Kye reinvested his earnings into expanding the fleet, acquiring a Constellation Andromeda for bulk cargo transport and for heavy-duty freight operations. Recognizing that logistics alone wasn’t enough to secure a long-term future, he expanded OmniStar into engineering and infrastructure development—providing construction, ship maintenance, and colony support to settlements in need.

With microTech as its official headquarters, OmniStar benefited from access to advanced AI-driven logistics tools, quantum route optimization systems, and cutting-edge engineering advancements. The company soon became one of the most trusted names in independent logistics and engineering, working alongside corporations, colonists, and private clients across multiple systems. OmniStar earned a reputation for its ability to deliver to high-risk zones, including supplying outposts in Pyro and Nyx where most corporate haulers wouldn’t dare operate.

Modern-Day Operations (2950 – Present)
