Lucid is a Freelance Corporation dedicated to ensuring high quality goods and services.

History

Founded in the chaos of the ever-expanding Stanton system, Lucid emerged from the necessity of independent operators banding together for survival and profit. What began as a small group of former military, bounty hunters, and ex-corporate security specialists soon grew into a formidable force known for its precision, reliability, and unwavering loyalty to contracts—no matter the odds.

During the heightened tensions between mega-corporations and outlaw factions, the organization carved its reputation by providing elite security solutions to traders, explorers, and private entities looking for protection beyond what the UEE could offer. Whether it was escorting high-value cargo through pirate-infested lanes or launching strategic strikes against hostile threats, Lucid became the go-to for those seeking strength without bureaucracy.

Operating on the fringes of legality, the group remains fiercely independent—never fully aligning with the UEE, advocacy, or criminal syndicates. Instead, loyalty lies with the contract, and the only law that matters is the one written in credits. With an ever-growing fleet of combat-ready ships and a network of skilled operatives, Lucid stands as a pillar in the freelance security market, offering protection, enforcement, and strategic warfare to those who can afford their expertise.

In the vast darkness of space, where trust is scarce and danger is inevitable, Lucid Corp. ensures that those who hire them live to see another sunrise.

No allegiance. No compromise. Only results.

Manifesto

No Allegiance. No Compromise. Only Results.
In the lawless void where corporations wage silent wars and the UEE turns a blind eye, survival is not a right—it is earned. Lucid Corp. was founded in the crucible of necessity, forged by those who refuse to kneel to empire or syndicate. We are not heroes. We are not villains. We are professionals.

Our Code:
  • Loyalty to the Contract – We serve the mission, not the politics. A signed contract is our only allegiance, and it will be fulfilled with ruthless precision.
  • Strength Through Independence – We bow to no corporation, no government, and no crime syndicate. Our strength lies in our autonomy.
  • Fear is a Weapon, and We Wield It Well – In the unforgiving depths of space, deterrence is often the difference between life and death. Our reputation is our armor.
  • Honor in Action, Not Words – Promises are worthless without execution. We let results speak louder than ideals.
  • Adapt and Overcome – No battle is fair. No battlefield is predictable. We win because we refuse to lose.

Our Purpose:
We exist to provide protection where the UEE falters, to strike where the corporations hesitate, and to ensure that those who hire us survive long enough to see their credits well spent. Whether it is safeguarding a lone freighter through hostile space or eliminating high-priority threats before they become problems, Lucid Corp. is the line between order and chaos.

The Cost of Doing Business:
We do not fight for glory. We do not seek fame. We fight because it pays, and we are the best at what we do. If you can meet our price, you can buy the best security force in the sector. If you cross us, you will not live to regret it.

Join Us or Hire Us. But Never Oppose Us.
We are Lucid Corp.
We are the unseen force in the void.
We are the last line of defense.
We are your worst nightmare.

Charter

I. Loyalty to the Contract
Once a contract is accepted, it will be completed. No backing out, no second-guessing.
All operational decisions are made with mission success as the priority.

II. No Unpaid Work
We do not fight for free. We do not offer charity. Every bullet, every maneuver, and every risk carries a price.
Exceptions require leadership approval and must serve the corporation’s interests.

III. Maintain Professionalism
We are not common mercenaries or pirates—we are a precision force. Conduct yourself accordingly in all dealings.
Internal disputes stay internal. Never air grievances in public channels.

IV. No Unnecessary Hostility
We engage when paid to or when necessary for our survival. Senseless violence attracts the wrong attention.
Respect neutrality—do not fire on unaffiliated parties unless given a direct order or under threat.

V. Chain of Command is Absolute
Orders from leadership must be followed in active operations. Questioning decisions is for debriefs, not combat.
Internal ranks exist for efficiency, not ego—abuse of authority will not be tolerated.

VI. No Betrayals, No Leaks
Selling information, sabotaging contracts, or working against Lucid’s interests is met with swift and severe consequences.
What happens in Lucid, stays in Lucid. Operational intelligence is confidential.

VII. Keep Your Ship Combat-Ready
Maintain your equipment, stay stocked on supplies, and be prepared for deployment at all times.
If your ship fails you in combat due to negligence, you answer for it.

VIII. Contracts Come Before Personal Feuds
We don’t settle personal scores on company time. If you have a problem with someone, handle it off the books.
If your grudge compromises a mission, you’re done.

IX. No Ties to Criminal Syndicates
Lucid operates independently. We do not answer to pirate lords, cartels, or crime bosses.
Side deals with criminal organizations are forbidden unless explicitly sanctioned by leadership.

X. Adapt, Survive, Dominate
The void is unforgiving, and so are we. Always be learning, improving, and staying ahead of the competition.
If you fall behind, you become a liability—and liabilities don’t last long in Lucid.
Failure to abide by these rules will result in disciplinary action, up to and including permanent removal from Lucid Corp. We are not a democracy. We are a force. Act like it.
