The Kell Hounds are a rogue collective of deep-space opportunists operating in the shadows of the UEE’s outer reach. Founded by the enigmatic Kelendros, a former naval salvager turned pirate lord, the Hounds specialize in aggressive salvage, tactical boarding, and freelance contracts that blur the line between legal and lethal.
Unaligned with any system of law, the Kell Hounds carve their fortune from wreckage fields, derelict battle zones, and vulnerable cargo haulers. Their fleet is patched together from reclaimed hulls, each vessel a trophy of prior engagements. Whether it’s gutting a drifting Reclaimer for parts or flipping a hijacked Freelancer to the black market, they leave nothing behind but ion trails and rumors.
Despite their ruthless reputation, the Hounds are loyal to credits and kin—those who ride with them are shielded by blood and fire. But betray them, and your ship becomes their next salvage claim.

Founded in the shadows of the 2948 Magna Salvage Treaty collapse, the Kell Hounds rose from a single, scorched Reclaimer hull and the man who wouldn’t let it die: Kelendros. Ex-Navy. Ex-corp. Ex-loyal. All fire now.
We fly on the edge—where the UEE forgets and the syndicates lie. What others call piracy, we call collection. What others call salvage, we call profit. If a derelict’s floating with lights off and no hands aboard, that’s fair game. If it’s got shields up and guns hot? We’ll still take our share.

Article I — Purpose
The Kell Hounds are an independent freelance and salvage operation operating on the fringe of UEE-regulated space. We specialize in reclamation, boarding, tactical piracy, cargo interception, and high-value retrieval.
Article II — Authority Structure
⫸ Alpha (Kelendros or Designated Successor)
Final command authority in all missions, disputes, and decisions.
May appoint or remove Command at will.
⫸ Pack Command
Mission leads, logistics, asset coordination.
Vote on strategic direction, member ranks, and high-stake conflicts.
⫸ Hounds (Full Members)
Active operators in raids, salvage, and fleet defense.
Eligible for shares of haul.
May submit motions to Pack Command.
⫸ Pups (Prospects)
Trial members.
Receive partial share (see Article V).
Must complete 3 active ops and vetting interview.
Article III — Code of Conduct
Loyalty to the Pack over external laws or factions.
No theft from within — all hauls are org-scanned and processed.
No freelancing on Kell-tagged ops without permission.
Silence on sensitive ops — no open comm chatter, no leaks.
Brothers in the black — no Hound left behind.
Article IV — Operations Scope
Derelict recovery
Boarding actions (contract or unsanctioned)
Hostile reclamation
Wreck deconstruction
Data retrieval
Black box repossession
Smuggling & blockade evasion (as necessary)
Article V — Payment and Haul Shares
All assets acquired during Kell-sanctioned operations are pooled and distributed as haul shares, calculated as follows:

Mission-critical roles or exceptional acts may earn bonus shares at Alpha discretion.
➤ Deductions:
Org Fuel Pool: 10% of gross haul
Repair & Refit Reserve: 5% of gross haul
Lost Ship Compensation: Reimbursed per policy
Article VI — Promotion
Promotion from Pup to Hound is based on:
3 successful ops participation
Pack Command consensus
Demonstrated loyalty and capability
Promotion to Pack Command is by Alpha appointment or ¾ vote of existing Command.
Article VII — Disputes & Discipline
Infractions result in:
First Strike — Warning and reduced share.
Second Strike — Temporary suspension.
Third Strike — Airlock.
Disputes may be brought before Pack Command. Alpha holds final judgment.
Article VIII — Dissolution
Should the Alpha fall and no successor be named, Pack Command may vote to dissolve the Kell Hounds or appoint a new Alpha by unanimous decision.
