History

In the waning days of the Twenty-Seventh Century, as the children of Man cast their dominion unto the far reaches of the heavens, there arose from the hallowed cradle of Sol a consecrated brotherhood — fervent, unwavering, and bound by a singular and holy truth: the worship of the One. This Most Divine, whose glory is without beginning and whose will is without end, was proclaimed by the High Ecclesiarch’s to be the sacred hand that uplifted Man from the dust of Terra and set his feet upon the stars. To the faithful, there was no doubt — Mankind alone was chosen, anointed by the One to bear His light unto the void and to cleanse the darkness that defiled it. The Holy Order, which named itself Sol Imperium, first took root as a great spiritual awakening within the Sol System, its heart nestled in the red dust of Mars, beneath the domed sanctum of Isaheimr. In the earliest days, the movement was granted tolerance by the government, the UEE for its discipline and righteous order. Yet the Imperium’s words stirred the hearts of the disenchanted: the downtrodden, the faithful, and those who beheld with sorrow the corruption of governance, the profaning of Man’s sanctity through dealings with alien beasts, and the slow erosion of human virtue. The teachings of Sol Imperium waxed ever more zealous, proclaiming with holy wrath that all Xeno life was heresy. A blight upon the sacred design of the One. From their sacred scrolls, The Radiant Imperium, came the divine truth: that Man alone was sanctified among the stars, and that to make peace with the alien was to spit upon the face of the Creator. Their sermons thundered across Isaheimr like righteous fire, and their cries for holy cleansing shook the foundations of the secular order. The embassies of the Xeno cried out in protest. The agents of UEE intelligence watched with growing dread. And unrest, like a storm of prophecy, began to darken the skies above Mars. At last, in the year of our lord 2689 The UEE did cast judgment, declaring Sol Imperium to be heretical and dangerous a cult most extreme. Edicts were passed; their gatherings were outlawed, their voices silenced. But the faithful did not bow. Nay, they chose the path of Exodus. The faithful fled into the stars bearing with them sacred relics, consecrated warships, and the undying flame of the One’s will.

Centuries passed the memory of Sol Imperium faded, their numbers dwindled but they did not perish. The exiled faithful of Sol Imperium did not falter, they arose. From the ashes of exile, they forged, a wandering theocracy tempered by holy purpose, bound by sacred oath to the One. No longer did they cling to the soil of worlds; their fleet became their sanctum, their vessels consecrated as cathedrals adrift in the stars. Gunships bore the sigils of divinity. While many forgot their true purpose, they never did. While they undertook bounties, lent aid in battle a, true allegiance was not to credit nor contract, but to will of the One. Their will is unchanging. To scour the stars of the Xeno blight, be they Banu traffickers, Xi’an defilers, or Tevarin wretches — all are seen as vermin in the eyes of the Imperium. Each system touched by the hand of Man must be sanctified anew. Sol Imperium will rise to its former glory and humanity shall remember them. They shall soon come to thank them.

Manifesto

The Manifesto of Sol Imperium

Ad Gloriam Solis. Ad Voluntatem Unius.
In Nomine Unius — In the Name of the One

Let it be declared and etched into the stars: we, the faithful of Sol Imperium, walk not as vagrants in the void, but as the sword and sanctum of humanity’s divine purpose. Cast from the cradle of Sol, we now ride the heavens with holy fury, bound in covenant to the One — He Who ordained Man as steward of the stars.

From Isaheimr to the exiled dark, our flame has not faltered. Where lesser hearts broke under the weight of persecution, we rose — forged anew in war, prayer, and unyielding devotion.

The xeno blight, in all its vile forms — whether Banu trafficker, Xi’an deceiver, or Tevarin wretch — shall find no sanctuary in systems touched by the Imperium. Our crusade is eternal. Our oath unbroken.

## Tenets of the Faithful

1. The One is Absolute. All actions must serve the divine will. The One speaks through the Radiant Imperium. No council nor coin shall sway our path.

2. Humanity is Sanctified. Only Man is made in the image of the One. All xeno life is aberration and must be purged, with no quarter given.

3. Faith is our Shield, Steel is our Word. We are both preacher and executioner. In the void, we are witness and wrath.

## Operational Policies of Sol Imperium

To fulfill the divine mandate and ensure the strength of our brethren, Sol Imperium conducts operations across UEE and unregulated space in accordance with sacred doctrine:

### ✠ Crusade Operations (Primary Mandate)

  • Xeno Purge Protocols: Seek and destroy xeno enclaves, patrol known alien sympathizer routes, and disrupt xeno trade where possible. This includes:
* Banu black market interdiction * Xi’an diplomatic disruption missions * Tevarin insurgency suppression
  • Spiritual Inquisitions: Identify and eliminate human collaborators, cults, and heretics who consort with alien life.
  • System Sanctification: Long-term presence in human-controlled systems to purge xeno influence and fortify borders.

### ✠ Mercenary Conduct (Secondary Directive)

  • Bounty Hunting: Authorized bounty targets are to be captured or eliminated with precision. Targets of alien affiliation are prioritized.
  • Contract Enforcement: Engage in lawful or grey-zone contracts that do not conflict with holy tenets. The faithful must never serve xeno-aligned factions or causes.
  • Warzone Intervention: Reinforce battlefronts where human life is threatened, provided the enemy is non-human or corrupted.

> Note: No contract may override a divine objective. Faith takes precedence over all coin and creed.

### ✠ Fleet Doctrine

  • *Capital Class Ships:** Pre-mission sermons and blessings are compulsory before major operations.
  • Iconography in Battle: Sigils of the One, the Holy Sword, and Solar Emblems must be displayed on all hulls. (If such a feature is ever added)
  • Sacred Silence Protocol: At the death of a member — A moment of Silence and Vigil shall be held by their body.

### ✠ Recruitment & Indoctrination

  • Only Humans May Join. Each initiate must swear the Oath of the One and undergo the Rite of Sanctification (This Includes bringing back the trophy of a Xeno to a Grandmaster once Xeno’s are added)
  • No Mercy to Apostates. Those who betray the Imperium or consort with the Xeno shall be executed and erased from the Book of Names.
