“Faithless is he that says farewell when the road darkens.”
Iron Will’s origins are forged in the ruins of Idris IV, a world left scarred by the final battle of the Second Tevarin War. When the UEE declared victory in 2605, not all who had fought in its name were honored. Some—like Iron Will—were erased from history, discarded for the sake of preserving the Empire’s image.
Ordered to hold against impossible odds, Iron Will’s squad stood their ground, fighting outnumbered 50 to 1, knowing their duty was to stall the enemy, not defeat them. For three relentless days, they endured waves of Tevarin warriors, urban combat turning into brutal survival in shattered cities. On the fourth day, the Tevarin finally broke through—and the UEE, unwilling to admit its strategic failure, refused to acknowledge their sacrifice.
Rather than recognizing their valiant last stand, Iron Will was dishonored—blamed for losing the battle, their names erased from military records, their service denied.
But warriors forged in war do not simply disappear.
The survivors of Idris IV refused to fade into obscurity. Stripped of rank and purpose, they walked away from the Empire, rejecting the government that had betrayed them. Bound by their own creed—Strength through Discipline. Victory through Honor. Survival through Unity—they forged a new path, beyond UEE control.
During the Vanduul War, Iron Will proved its worth again. While UEE forces scrambled to respond to the Vanduul raid on Vega II, Iron Will was already in motion, securing evacuation corridors and reinforcing weak defensive lines, ensuring civilians had a chance to escape before the invasion swept through.
Their actions earned respect among military veterans, not through official commendations, but through the gratitude of those they saved.
As the Synthworld Project drained UEE resources, Iron Will adapted, stepping into the gaps left by government neglect. In the chaotic Kellog system, they protected trade routes, ensuring that settlers and merchants had safe passage through lawless space.
In Stanton, where corporate control often overshadowed justice, Iron Will stood as a stabilizing force, answering distress calls where no formal security forces would intervene. They did not fight for politics or profit—they fought for the people who had been abandoned, just as they once were.
While Iron Will remains independent, they have publicly acknowledged Governor Azwethinkweiz as a fair and just leader, one who understands Stanton’s delicate balance of power. Unlike the corporate overlords who see Stanton as a business venture, Azwethinkweiz rules with pragmatism, ensuring that the system does not collapse into chaos.
Iron Will does not pledge allegiance to the UEE, nor do they serve corporate interests—but they recognize true leadership where it emerges, and in Azwethinkweiz, they see a governor worth respecting.
Though officially forgotten, Iron Will forges ahead in the void—a force forged by war, tempered by time, and bound by an unwavering will.
They do not seek glory.
They do not serve a flag.
They exist because someone must stand where others have fallen.
Strength through Discipline. Victory through Honor. Survival through Unity.
