HEATSEEKERS: Clan of the Black Flame

It is more than a motto—it is a philosophy. To falter is death. To hesitate is failure. A HEATSEEKER does not retreat, does not question the contract, and does not rest until the mark is sealed or the fire dies.
History of The Clan:
The HEATSEEKERS were born in the shadow of betrayal, The Guild traces its roots back over four centuries to the Outer Verge Conflict, when lawlessness swept the frontier systems beyond the Terran Core. Forged on Kampos, We are a clan bound by Creed, not by contracts. We exist where law collapses and order dies, forging an unorthodox code to bring justice where empires had failed.
HEATSEEKERS Never remove their helmets. The moment a recruit passes their initiation, they seal the helmet and shed their former life.
INITIATION PROTOCOL
Circle Advancement: Ash → Flame
Before a Seeker may rise from the Circle of Ash into the Circle of Flame, they must complete their Initiation Flame Run—a personal trial of focus, discipline, and silent execution. But the trial alone is not enough.
To be flamebound, the Seeker must secure their own Paladin helmet, personally and without aid. No handouts. No shortcuts.
The required helmet is found only at Cutter’s Rig on Hurston—where credits must be earned, presence must be justified, and the gear must be claimed by one’s own hand.
Until the helmet is worn, the face remains known. Until the face is gone, the fire does not accept you.
Only once the helmet is sealed does a Seeker shed their name, mark their shoulder, and walk the Creed into the next Circle.

HEATSEEKERS RANKING SYSTEM
Our path is forged in fire, not favor. Advancement is earned.
Each member moves through four Ranks, tied to their Circle, discipline, and proven action:
Virtues – Initiates of each Circle; unproven.
Dominions – Flamebound operatives; trial-complete.
Cherubim – Proven tacticians and squad leaders; Circle commanders
Seraphim – Highest rank; strategists, founders, and fire-hardened elite
The Path is Forged, Always Forward -Every member of the HEATSEEKERS lives by this Creed.
To uphold our honor, discipline, and reputation across the verse, the following rules are enforced:
1. Obey the Creed
“The Path is Forged, Always Forward”—never retreat, never betray the Hunt. Once a mark is accepted, it is pursued without hesitation or compromise.
2. Respect the Flame
Respect your fellow HEATSEEKERS. Internal conflict weakens the Guild. Disputes are settled by the Circle or in the field—clean, fast, final.
3. No Unauthorized Contracts
No freelance jobs that interfere with Guild ops. All high-value targets must be cleared through Guild channels. Side work is earned, not assumed.
4. No Civilians, No Collateral
We hit targets, not innocents. Sloppy work, collateral damage, or reckless fire will get you sanctioned—or burned.
5. Keep Comms Clear
In the field, clarity saves lives. In Guild channels, comms are mission-first. No noise, no ego.
6. Maintain Your Gear
You are your kit. Maintain your ship, armor, and loadout. We don’t send unprepared Seekers into the black.
7. Keep your Identity Private
When the Helmet Comes Off
Only three circumstances permit removal:
Ashfall (Exile):
Those who betray the Creed have their helmets forcibly removed in public ritual. Their names are struck from the Ember Archives, and they are branded Flame-Broken.
Return to Ash(Death):
If a Seeker falls in service to the Creed, the Circle of Embers may remove the helmet in silence to record their face one final time—for remembrance only, not display.
The Trial of Flame (Initiation):
Before sealing, the final moment of identity is given. A name burned into the Archives. A face turned away from light. From then on, only the flame remains.
8. Break the Code, Burn Alone
Violating the Creed or these rules automatically marks you as rogue. This results in otherwise known as “Ashfall”/having your flame extinguished. No appeal, no return unless redeemed cleansed through ritual. The same fire that forged you will find you.
