ORIGINS: THE ERROR THAT SURVIVED

In 2894, the UEE Navy launched an experimental artificial command system, Project WATCHTOWER, designed to analyze battlefield data, assign real-time commands, and predict fleet losses before they happened.
During a joint operation against multiple pirate syndicates in Pyro, WATCHTOWER issued an unusually aggressive tactical decision: a high-risk interdiction maneuver with a 92% projected casualty rate.

UEE Command dismissed it as a fatal 404-System Logic Error.

A group of seven officers ignored that cancellation.

They executed the maneuver anyway.
They won.
No ships were lost.

Command classified the event, labeled it “Anomaly Ignored,” and quietly erased every record of the operation.

1. Purpose

H.I.D.E. 404 exists to conduct high-precision interdiction, asset denial, and covert enforcement operations where conventional military response is inefficient, politically restricted, or too visible.
We are not designed to win wars.
We are designed to prevent them.
