About us:

In the vast, untamed expanse of the cosmos, where stellar drift and light-speed delays make synchronized command a near impossibility, a single organization stands as the ultimate arbiter of order and precision: the GMT – the Greenwich Mean Time Corps.

We are not merely another military outfit charting distant stars; we are the anchors of reality. Our name is our mission statement. Just as Earth’s original GMT brought universal synchronization to a fragmented world, the Corps imposes tactical synchronization across volatile interstellar fronts. We define the when and where of galactic engagement.

The GMT operates within the narrowest margins of error, ensuring that fleets converge on target systems not just in the same hour, but in the exact second required for a successful strike or a critical defense maneuver. We are the masters of the temporal advantage.

What we do:

We regularly carry out the following missions and events strategically and efficiently;

- Stormbreaker
- Yormandi
- Align & mine
- Contested zones
- Executive hangars
- Smuggler missions
- Small-scale ship PvP
- Occasional PvE content

What we aim to introduce in the future;

- Large scale fleet battles
- Internal PvP events
- Racing events

What we are looking for;

The GMT Corps is where skill meets a relaxed atmosphere. We pride ourselves on executing precise, synchronized manoeuvres when needed, but we leave the military formality behind in our comms. We are a community of skilled, laid-back pilots who get the job done right, without the stress.

- Proficient English Speakers
- Active Participation
- Both Casual and Organised Activity
- Willingness to Learn if needed
- Effective & Reliable in Action

Manifesto

Preamble
From the ancient star charts used by early navigators to the chronometers that first defined universal time, the United Kingdom has always measured the stars. Time, the invisible architecture of our journey through the stars, is our legacy. Now, we turn that precise legacy outward, past the Sol system and deep into the frontiers of the Stanton system.

GMT is not merely a space group; we are the confluence of engineering precision, pioneering spirit, and a uniquely British resolve. We reject the notion that the UEE controls the entire narrative. The Stanton system is a complex, open frontier, and it is time for the UK to set the agenda for our shared future amongst the chaos and commerce.

Our Core Principles
I. The Meridian as Our Doctrine: We embrace our historical role as the arbiters of global time. Just as we unified Earth’s clocks, GMT will provide the essential temporal infrastructure for deep-space operations in Stanton and beyond. Our mission starts at 0° longitude and extends through every jump point.
II. Pragmatic Innovation: We build clever, efficient, and reliable systems, favouring robust Anvil Aerospace designs and home-built reliability. Utilizing cutting-edge British engineering and scientific research, we prioritise sustainable progress over showy, wasteful spectacle. Our ships are tough, our operations are focused, and our missions are profitable and secure.
III. Sovereignty Through Savvy: The UK will maintain a sovereign capability in exploration, resource extraction, and defence within the volatile Stanton system. Our independent presence ensures our nation’s security, drives economic prosperity, and cements our status as a formidable independent player in the 2950s.
IV.Collaboration with Purpose: We will work with any independent entity, corporation, or non-aligned world that shares our commitment to mutual prosperity and peaceful exploration under agreed-upon protocols. Our partners will find in GMT an honest broker dedicated to shared scientific advancement and secure trade routes.

Our Objectives
I. Secure the High Ground (Stanton Orbital Security)
We shall establish reliable, independent operational capabilities radiating from our core base of operations. Our immediate goal is the deployment of the ‘Aether-Net’: a sovereign constellation of encrypted relays to provide unparalleled system connectivity, threat monitoring, and operational intelligence for GMT assets.
II. The Pyro Gateway (Frontier Expansion)
GMT will lead the establishment of a sustained British presence in the volatile Pyro system and its asteroid belts. This is not for UEE oversight, but for the construction of ‘The Observatory at the Meridian’: a permanent, automated research and refuelling station focused on deep-space exploration, surveying uncharted jump points, and vital resource extraction. Pyro is our proving ground for the rest of the galaxy.
III. Terraforming Ambition (The Far Frontier)
Within two decades, GMT will dispatch the first solely British-designed survey mission beyond Pyro. The ‘Babbage’ explorer ship will search for viable jump points to uninhabited systems and assess the viability of long-term human habitation on untouched worlds, carrying the Union Jack further into the void.
IV. Stewardship of Time and Space
We will advocate for a new era of cosmic responsibility. GMT will champion the clean-up of hazardous debris fields and establish protocols for sustainable space activities within contested zones. We are guardians of our routes, not anarchists.

Call to Action
The future is out there, measured in light-years and seconds. It is a future we must seize. We call upon the pilots, traders, engineers, scientists, and citizens of the United Kingdom to look up and join us.

The clock is ticking. Our time is now.

Ad Astra, Per Scientiam. (To the Stars, Through Knowledge.)

Charter

Preamble:
We, the members of the GMT corps, in recognition of the critical importance of outer space as a domain essential to the security, prosperity, and future of all humankind, do hereby establish this charter to define our purpose, structure, and guiding principles.

Article I: Purpose and Objectives
The primary mission of the GMT is to plan, execute, and integrate military space power into multi-domain global operations to deter aggression, defend human interests across the Stanton system, and, when necessary, defeat threats to planetary stability.
Core Objectives:
• Deterrence: Maintain a formidable presence in orbit and deep space to dissuade hostile actions by any state or non-state actor.
• Defence: Protect Earth’s orbital assets, colonies, and supply lines from attack.
• Exploration Security: Provide security and support for scientific and exploratory missions.
• Peacekeeping: Enforce treaties and maintain order in contested or lawless regions of space.
