Welcome to Ember Down — where the Basement Rats fly. We don’t pledge to flags or corps. We chase credits, chaos, and the next bad idea that might just work. Born from Hell’s Basement, drift-forged and fire-bonded. Always wrecked. Always ready. And never the first to flinch.

History

History

Ember Down didn’t start with a grand vision — it started in the dark.

A busted hangar. A cold bottle. A few too many stories and not enough creds between them.

From that moment in Hell’s Basement, the crew started forming — drifters, rejects, ex-corp, ex-mil, and the ones who never fit anywhere else. Not pirates. Not mercs. Just the kind of operators who do what needs doing — and do it well.

We earned our name in wreckage and wild odds. Every win came with scars. Every loss, a lesson.

We never wanted a banner, but we raised one anyway — for ourselves, and for those like us.

Always wrecked. Always ready.

Manifesto

Manifesto

We don’t follow flags. We don’t answer to boardrooms. We answer to each other.

Ember Down isn’t about control — it’s about crew.

We take on salvage runs, search & rescue, security details, recon contracts, and the odd job nobody else wants. We don’t care how shiny your armor is — if you can fly, fight, fix, or carry your weight, you’ve got a place here.

We believe in grit over glory, loyalty over law, and credits over clout.

Fly with us, and you’ll never be alone in the black.

This isn’t a job.

It’s a choice.

Charter

EMBER DOWN CHARTER

“Wrecked & Ready” isn’t just a motto — it’s how we live.

Members of Ember Down agree to this charter as a shared code of conduct, built on respect, loyalty, and capability. We’re not a military, not a corporation — we’re a crew, a family, a syndicate of operators who’ve chosen to walk our own path across the stars.

Membership

Joining Ember Down isn’t about being accepted — it’s about proving you belong.

  • We value competence over credentials, attitude over ego, and initiative over orders.
  • Everyone brings something: salvagers, smugglers, medics, miners — find your lane and own it.
  • Veterans are expected to lift up new members. Help build the crew you want to fly with.

Conduct

We’re not saints, but we don’t tolerate disrespect.

  • Respect your crew — in Discord, voice, Spectrum, or in-game.
  • No racism, hate speech, harassment, or drama. One warning. Then you’re out.
  • Represent Ember Down with pride — don’t be the reason we get a bad name.

The Code

Applicants

  • Show effort. Bring a good attitude. Engage with the crew.
  • You’re being evaluated — not on skill, but on character and crew-fit.
  • Promotions come from action, not applications.

Members

  • Stay active or check in. Real life comes first — just communicate.
  • No cheats, exploits, or shady moves that risk the crew’s rep.
  • Be the kind of wingman you’d want beside you.

Communication & Presence

  • Discord is our HQ. Stay active, stay looped in.
  • In operations: keep comms clear and relevant.
  • On forums, streams, or public chats: represent the crew — or don’t rep us at all.

Shared Assets

  • Ship sharing is encouraged, not required. Respect what you borrow.
  • If you break or lose someone’s ship — own it. Make it right.
  • Profit shares favor ship owners unless a deal is made up front.

Discipline & Departure

We’re not a cage. You’re free to go anytime.
But break the code, and you’re gone.

  • Cheating, exploiting, or botting
  • 30+ days inactive with no contact
  • Leaking internal crew info
  • Repeated toxicity or infighting

Structure

We’re not about strict hierarchy — but we keep things organized.

Roles

  • Founder – Keeps the vision aligned and the crew grounded
  • Recruitment – Brings in new blood, vets for fit and fire
  • Officer – Coordinates missions, conflict, and crew affairs
  • Marketing – Builds the image, spreads the word, fuels the myth

Ranks

We don’t do stripes and bars. Members earn Stars.
From Zero Star to Five Star, your impact determines your standing — not a title.
Show up, help out, level up.
