History

Dock 7 wasn’t meant to last.

Originally just a forgotten auxiliary bay on a decommissioned industrial station along the edges of UEE-charted space, Bay 7 was locked down, abandoned, and sealed after a fuel explosion two decades ago. No records. No cleanup. Just left to drift like trash in a gravity well.

But spacers see opportunity in wreckage.

A handful of rogue haulers and scrap syndicates cracked the doors open. Inside? Quiet, stable pressure, and enough structure to rebuild. They patched the walls, rigged power, and welded life back into its bones. Not for profit — not at first — but for a place to call neutral. A place where deals could be made without crosshairs.

They called it Dock 7. The number wasn’t chosen. It was burned into the bulkhead, scarred and soot-streaked, like it had been waiting.

Over time, word spread — not through ads or corporate backing, but through quiet channels and whispered coordinates.
Need a smuggler with a brain? Check Dock 7.
Looking to offload a sensitive cargo? Dock 7.
Want to trade a map for a favor, or a job for credits without answering to a syndicate? Dock 7.

It became a crossroads for the unclaimed and unaffiliated:

Haulers burned by big orgs.

Freelancers needing clean slates.

Ex-military with ship scars and no home.

Salvagers chasing ghosts on long-range scans.

Info brokers bartering whispers for safe harbor.

No flags fly over Dock 7. No taxes. No allegiance. The only law is respect — and if you break that, no one will save you.

Today, Dock 7 operates like a living trade post:

Shipping manifests are sacred currency.

Job postings go up by the hour.

Information flows faster than fuel.

And the Black Vault — a sealed terminal rumored to house old AI fragments and lost navigation data — remains untouched by all but a few.

No leader. No titles. Just the Crew, old-timers and newcomers alike, keeping the lights on and the doors open.

Dock 7 isn’t a company. It’s a code:

“Stay sharp. Trade fair. Leave your drama in the cargo hold.”

Manifesto

“We were never meant to kneel. So we built a place to stand.”

We are not a syndicate.
We are not a fleet.
We are not a corporation, or a cause, or a war waiting to happen.
We are those who slip between systems. Who live between pings. Who carry knowledge, cargo, and consequence.

Dock 7 is our ground zero.
Not for power. Not for control.
But for exchange — of ideas, of contracts, of trust earned over time and a drink.

We believe:

Information should flow freely — paid in creds, favors, or goodwill, not chained behind egos or gates.

Work should be clean, even when it’s dirty — your word is your worth, and your silence is your bond.

No flag flies here. No empire, org, or outfit owns Dock 7. This place exists for those who answer to no one but the stars.

Every voice matters, but not every voice leads — decisions here are forged in consensus, not command.

We do not demand allegiance.
We do not require titles.
But if you claim Dock 7 as your port, your waypoint, or your second breath —
You honor it.

You keep your blade sheathed.
You trade fair.
You leave your politics in orbit and your drama in the cargo hold.

We are haulers, salvagers, scouts, smugglers, shadowrunners, and spacers of all creeds.
We are the voice on the open frequency when no one else answers.
We are Dock 7 — and we’re still here.

“When the rest of the system burns, you’ll find us where the trade lines cross and the lights still flicker.”

— The Crew
