Manifesto

Us in Dark Map Navigation live not by the Sword, or the Pen or The Divine, but a Creed we hold encased in the mind, that we’d rather be out there, finding something new, than stay and fight something old…

Charter

I. Name:

The name of this organization shall be the Dark Map Navigation (herein referred to as the DMN).

II. Statement of Purpose:

The purpose of this organization shall be to:

  • A. HAVE FUN!!!
  • B. Role Play in the universe of Star Citizen
  • C. Explore
  • D. Survey
  • E. Intelligence gathering
  • F. Take contracts according to above points

III. Membership.

  • A. Any registered Star Citizens without prior criminal records may officially join the organization, although every applicant and would be recruit will have to go through interviews.
  • B. Only registered DMN Boardmembers may hold office and vote in elections for the organization’s officers.
  • C. Only Executives, Directors and Managers shall spend the organization’s funds.

IV. Officers.

  • A. The organization shall have 3 officers:
    • 1. Director of Intelligence
      • a. Shall have a good understanding of theories and practice concerning exploring, surveying, intelligence gathering and threat assessment.
      • b. Shall use and convey this knowledge whenever necessary at events, meetings, and promotions of the organization.
      • d. Shall publicly adhere to and abide by the statement of purpose of the organization.
    • 2. Director of Survey and Exploration
      • a. Shall have a good understanding of current radar and scanning equipment, history of exploring, the current state of the science, and the assumptions behind natural phenomenons and dangers coming with diving into the unknown.
      • b. Shall use and convey this knowledge whenever necessary at events, meetings, and promotions of the organization.
      • c. Shall be the official spokesperson for the organization on issues related to current radar and scanning equipment, history of exploring, the current state of the science, and the assumptions behind natural phenomenons and dangers coming with diving into the unknown.
      • d. Shall publicly adhere to and abide by the statement of purpose of the organization.
    • 3. Director of Marketing and Human resources.
      • a. Shall be the official spokesperson for the organization on issues related to Points IV, A, 1 a. as stated above - as well as according to the Statement of Purpose
      • b. Shall coordinate and facilitate the publicity of all events and meetings of the organization.
      • c. Shall facilitate and handle would be applicants that wish to join DMN
      • d. Shall abide by all UEE policies when promoting the organization or its views.
      • e. Shall publicly adhere to and abide by the statement of purpose of the organization.
  • B. Failure of any officer to uphold the duties of their office are grounds for removal from office.
  • C. An officer may be removed from office by a 2/3 vote of the registered Board members of the organization.

V. Criteria for holding office.
  • A. All individuals holding office must be registered Star Citizens and be elected by a majority vote of the board members of the organization voting at the elections meeting.
  • B. The elections meeting shall take place in August of each year.
  • C. In the case of a resignation of an officer from office, a special elections meeting may be held to fill the office until the next August elections meeting.
  • D. All officers hold their position until the August elections meeting.
  • E. There are no limitations on the number of terms of office an individual may hold.
