The Coalition’s formation was inspired by the collective experiences of individuals who were either directly victimized or witness to such victimization caused by the pirate scourge ravaging the ‘Verse. These men of all trades came together to create an organization whose sole dedication is to the protection, promotion, and expansion of galaxy-wide commerce. The members of COALD stand ready as a vanguard in the ongoing fight against piracy.

WE ARE THE COALITION OF COMMERCIAL DEFENSE

INTENT:

This coalition has been created in order to: Form a community of individuals with a strong sense of justice and an entrepreneurial spirit, to act as private security for commercial entities and private citizens alike, to thwart piracy wherever it may occur, to assist citizens in their endeavors of personal enterprise and trade, and to bolster galactic commerce for the benefit of all.

BYLAWS:

In a ‘Verse plagued by chaos and those who would enrich themselves by committing acts of evil, it is only by adhering to certain principles that one can resist and defeat them. Our core bylaws are as follows:

  1. No Member of the Coalition of Commercial Defense shall willfully engage in criminal acts. COALD shall denounce and discharge any members found to have been committing crimes while working under the Org.
  2. Unless otherwise engaged in a more pressing mission, COALD members are required to intercept active acts of piracy and combat known pirates with extreme prejudice.
  3. Every COALD operation shall be focused on enhancing the economic prosperity of the ‘Verse – and in so doing the Org in turn – whether by engaging in personal enterprise or by providing security for private sector clients. The growth of the economy is the lifeblood of COALD.

These three guiding principles along with the basic tenets of trust and mutual cooperation are the heart of The Coalition of Commercial Defense. Acting as good and upstanding citizens, as shining beacons of light in direct opposition to the coldness and cruelty of the Black, is our foremost goal. We trust in all of our members to follow these core beliefs as part of our effort to guarantee peace and prosperity for every law abiding citizen of the ‘Verse.
