We are the Blackfire Division.
Born from betrayal, but forged in integrity, we began as a small faction of Navy veterans not washed-up, not disgraced, but scarred by a mission that changed everything.
We were ordered to wipe out a colony under false pretenses. Civilians. Non-combatants. We saw through the lie, and we refused. That choice cost us everything: our rank, our careers, our place in the Navy. They branded us traitors. But they couldn’t touch our code.
So we turned to the stars. We found others like us who still believed honor has weight, and courage has consequence. Together, we built something more substantial than any command structure: trust.
We run independently now, but we still carry a Navy-style rank system not to lord over anyone, but to maintain order, clarity, and accountability when lives are on the line. Rank guides our missions, not our egos. Every voice in Blackfire matters. Every decision is made with the insight of those who’ve bled beside us. Leadership here isn’t granted, it’s earned.
We take on the contracts others won’t. From bounty hunts to deep-space fuel runs, from surgical extractions to full-blown combat raids — we get the job done. Not for glory. Not for credits. For the principal.
We stand for those caught between corporate greed and government corruption. When we take a contract, it’s not just business — it becomes our cause. Every op, every escort, every retrieval, it’s a promise made. And we do not break promises.
What We Do
Bounty Hunting:
We track threats across the system from petty scum to high-value targets. Some call it business. We call it justice. Every hunt restores a little balance to a lawless ‘verse.
Cargo and Trade Escorts:
We protect what needs protecting. Our presence turns high-risk routes into safe passages. Pirates, rebels, smugglers, we’ve stood against them all. We don’t blink when the odds are stacked.
Fuel Resupply:
Stranded, cornered, or drifting in hostile space? We’re the beacon in the dark. We’ve delivered fuel in blackout zones where others wouldn’t even scan. Some pay in credits, others in favors, we always collect.
Rescue and Relief Ops:
We’re not known as a rescue team, but we don’t ask for a spotlight when innocents need saving. We show up, get it done, and vanish before the cameras roll.
Gray Zone Work:
We operate in the shadows when necessary. Smuggling supplies to rebels fighting tyrants. Disrupting syndicates on behalf of silenced colonies. If the cause is just, we don’t care how dirty the hands get.
Our Reputation
Call us what you will, mercs, ghosts, outlaws with a conscience. We’ve been called worse. But ask anyone who’s flown with us or against us we finish what we start. We don’t run. We don’t fold. And not even the UEE can buy us off once we take a contract.
We’re not here to be liked. We’re here to be counted on.
And if you’re someone who values loyalty, grit, and the kind of honor that doesn’t need medals, you might just belong here.
Manifesto of Blackfire Division
We are more than soldiers, more than mercenaries. We are the guardians of a forgotten code, cast out yet steadfast, bound by honor in a universe often devoid of it.
To Protect the Innocent:
We reject orders that betray the values of life and integrity. Where others see profit, we see responsibility. We will stand as a shield for those caught between the galaxy’s darkness and despair, even if it means facing shadows ourselves.
To Honor Every Contract:
When we give our word, it is unbreakable. In a world of shifting loyalties and corrupt allegiances, we vow to complete every mission we accept. Our reputation is not for sale, our word not for negotiation.
To Act with Purpose:
Every action has meaning, and every mission must align with our code. We operate in the gray, knowing that justice is rarely black and white. But we draw the line at needless cruelty and senseless destruction. We will do what must be done—but never without purpose.
To Stand Together as Equals:
Rank gives structure, but every voice holds weight. From Captain to Quartermaster, we are bound by the same commitment. We are a family forged by shared experience and tempered in battle. We act as one, bound by our oath to each other and the galaxy.
To Embrace the Challenge of the Unknown:
The stars hold secrets, dangers, and opportunities. We are explorers as well as protectors, embracing the mystery of what lies beyond. From deep space to hostile planets, we seek to uncover the unknown and face every threat with courage.
To Reclaim Integrity from the Void:
We are outcasts by choice, warriors by necessity, and honorable by conviction. We stand against corruption, betrayal, and tyranny, even as we operate outside the constraints of conventional morality. In this, we find freedom and purpose.
We are Blackfire Division. We do what others will not. We go where others fear to tread. We uphold the values lost in the darkness and carry the light of honor wherever we roam. To those who walk alongside us, we offer protection and loyalty. To those who stand against us, a warning: we are unbreakable.
Rank Structure

Officer Ranks:
Captain
Commands a single ship or large team, responsible for the day-to-day operation of their vessel or unit. Captains make tactical decisions during missions, lead ground teams, and ensure crew members follow the PMC’s mission objectives and ethical standards. They are pivotal in both space and ground operations, including high-risk extraction and combat.
