Manifesto
When you have bet everything on a single outcome it’s The Devil’s Dice your gonna want to use.
We’re a bunch of misfits who don’t belong together. We’re looking for all the other misfits, mavericks, and outsiders to join us. They’re the ones left alone to drift and die. We’re pretty sure they don’t belong either. We belong to them. Together we’re gonna build a family. We’ve all been dealt the worst cards this universe can dish out. Killing ourselves just trying to survive, but no longer. This family is gonna make its fortune for itself. Get a taste of some of the finer things on offer or burn the galaxy down trying. We are the Devil’s loaded dice and we can’t lose!
Charter
There are no dictators in the Devil’s Dice. As far as we are concerned your ship is your castle. Each person with a ship that has room for a crew with no fewer than three people gets the rank of Captain if they want it. Each Captain has full say in what jobs they take and don’t take. They also have full say in who they let on their ship. Got an issue with someone on the ship, the captain can settle it. If ya got an issue with the captain we can take it to the Captain’s Round-table where it will be decided by all the captains who care to take part in the decision. Each captain can appoint a single first-mate and invite as many other crew as they like. The rest of the crew falls under three ranks Howlers, Enforcers, and Prospects. We have a simple code of honor we operate by. Abide by this code and your welcome to stay and make your fortune with us.
Code
(1)Never hurt the Family. this includes cheating or stealing from each other, abuse, and bigotry of any kind.
(2)Never take any job that will result in kids getting hurt.
(3)Help the others in dealing with those the break these rules if you’re able.
RANKS
Chief – The founder and tiebreaker in the captain’s roundtable. Other than that no different than the other Captains.
Captain – The leader of a crew and their associated ships. Any Captain can call for a Captain’s Roundtable at any time. It will be held within a universal week. Once a matter is decided in this manner it’s closed unless a separate captain calls it to our attention.
First Mate – The most trusted and right hand of the captain that appointed them.
Howlers – Seasoned crew members who have proven themselves to their captain and the family.
Enforcers – Crew that has chosen a captain and full-fledged members of the crew and the family.
Prospects – Newcomers that don’t have a solid place on any particular crew, but are still family and share the same rights and protections.
