History

Steeped in Earth’s history of the 64th Aggressor Squadron, founded in 1941 AD, in the early days of aviation with the United States Army Air Corps, fighting in WWII over the skies of Egypt, Libya, and Tunisia; eventually making the flight across the Mediterranean to defend troops in the skies over Sicily, Italy and Corsica before the wars end. The Squadron came home, and was moved initially to Florida; then reassigned to the Aleutian Islands and the Alaskan Territory, eventually coming to rest in Nevada at Nellis AFB 1990 AD. Designated the United States Air Force Weapons School, the Air Aggressor Squadron was the Air Force’s answer to the Navy’s Top Gun stationed at Miramar. The Aggressor Squadron was made of only the best aviators, used to train the new best and brightest, acting as the enemy; teaching other aviators to push their aircraft to the limits while flying their own aircraft beyond the normal limits of most pilots in dog-fighting scenarios that would leave most little or no chance to survive. After the need for conventional fighter aircraft subsided the 64th Air Aggressor Squadron was deactivated in 2095 AD, being activated and reactivated several times over, with the changing political turmoil that ensued on the planet Earth.

For the final time, permanently reactivated by U.N.E decree in 2438 AD, after the fear caused from the initial contact with an alien race, once again prompted the need to train operators beyond the normal bounds of combat training. Combined with elements of the 90th Tactical Star-fighter Squadron, 388th Star-fighter Wing, and PMC pilots that were known for their skill and ferocity in combat, the 64th Air Aggressor Division was founded, as an independent starship division of the U.N.E. combat forces. Not only training the operators and pilots, but also the special operations units attached to those wings. The division was reaffirmed in 2524 AD after the restructuring of the U.N.E. into the U.P.E. and assigned a new charter to operate. The 64th Division is a mobile group, that can be moved around to support and train, bringing an operational force up to the next level; while also maintaining combat readiness and effectiveness above and beyond that of a normal wing or division. Having access to the latest weapons, equipment, and crafts; and, having the knowledge to use them effectively at the cutting edge of combat, they are routinely brought on board to supplement standing forces or used as a special operations force to take on special missions that could only be completed by an adaptive unit such as this.

Under their Charter, the 64th Air Aggressor Squadron was given unparalleled autonomy to operate as a PMC to allow for additional funding, and the ability to not only train other military units, but to also train civilians. This expanded capability also afforded the 64th Division the ability to now review and control their own destiny when it came to accepting missions. This also led to the choice to remain independent after the formation of the U.E.E. while still maintaining full operational capability, the 64TH Division was still lauded as an elite unit, training U.E.E. personnel and completing missions from the U.E.E. leadership. Maintaining their operational readiness and activity all the way through until the first Vanduul raids and the present, the 64th Division has always maintained their longstanding tradition to train and supplement military and civilian forces. While the different sections have moved and changed over time, the current configuration of the 64th Air Aggressor Division has been active for over 506 years, and still maintains a strong affinity for the rich traditions and mission that started 1000 years ago, at the infancy of Earth’s aviation history.

Manifesto

The 64th Air Aggressor Division is a long standing and proud organization. We strive to provide the best service possible, whether that be the training of combat and security forces, officially requested missions, or missions requested by a civilian organization. We intend to complete missions in a quick and timely manner, with the utmost professionalism; while also maintaining a constant alert status and operational readiness unheard of in the private sector. While we are technically listed as a PMC we will routinely back up security and military forces on an as needed basis.
